British shoemakers, Gaziano & Girling receive the Royal Warrant by Appointment as shoemakers to His Majesty The King. In the UK, this is the most notable award/honor a company can receive, and for good reason. Any retail company strives to create quality/design/craft that is worn by prestigious people around the world, and for a British company, there is none more prestigious than the King Himself.
In 2019, King Charles commissioned some beautiful adelaide brogues from Gaziano & Girling for his Coronation ceremony. You can read about that here and see the lovely shoes in the photo below. It is clear that G&G did a great job with that pair, as 6 years later, Gaziano & Girling receive The Royal Warrant, forever in the books now as ‘shoemakers to His Majesty The King.’
Many of you know that I know both Tony and Dean, but probably most don’t know how close we actually are. They are like older brothers for me, who have always been there for me, and likewise for them. I am very proud of them as there are few, if any, who deserve this more. But this honor just goes to show that when you do things with passion and honor, you can achieve the top successes in your field. As one of the greatest shoemakers of all time, they surely deserve this.
