Fisherman Sandals – The Marcel

I never liked the Fisherman’s Sandal. The reality is that when I had access to them, selling them at Nordstrom 20 years ago, I was only in my early 20s. And I do not think that I have ever seen a 20-year-old wearing a pair of those. Now that I am twice that age, they are growing on me. I wouldn’t dare wear flip flops outside of the beach, so they do seem like the acceptable version for an adult to wear with their elegant clothing. The Septieme Largeur SS2025 collection features a new Marcel with the brick colored sole that I find quite intriguing!

Suede Soft Sole Loafers – The Veneto

We are living in the world of suede loafers with contrast soles. And that is okay. I will take smart casual suede loafers over fashion shoes and ugly sneakers any day of the week. I quite like Septieme’s Version as it looks quite structed. Many people opt for the unlined version, but as I am quite rough in my movements, I always like something with a bit more structure and support. The Septieme Largeur SS2025 collection offers two brand new colors, the lovely navy and grey suede options.

Penny Loafers – The Manhattan & Nicodeme

Here is where Septieme Largeur took the unlined, deconstructed route with the suede Manhattan penny loafer. This suede loafer comes in three solid colorways and is ideal for any casual dress look. The Nicodeme, while not unlined, comes in this lovely pebbled soft grain that might as well be deconstructed for its pliable nature. The white leather/natural sole is a great Summer look and I can imagine it going down like a house on fire!

Tassel Loafers – The Vadillo

For the Septieme Largeur SS2025, the classic tassel comes with a classic twist in adding a commando sole for the dark brown suede and the timeless black calf options. Classic meets contemporary with those renditions. But if you are a classic only type of guy, fret not, they also offered your sleek leather sole option in the lovely hazelnut suede and dark brown calf. Anyway you look at it, you cannot go wrong!

The Classic Moc – The Ivy

Where French style meets the Ivy League preppy look. Your classic moc loafer is great for that casual, laid-back style of denim jeans, a t-shirt, with your sweater around your neck. We all know the look. Whether we wear it or not, it is still cool and has its place with a lot of the modern generation. And it sure beats some chunky sneakers! While I have never partaken in that look, I quite fancy the two-tone option!
