What I Packed for the Beach

Emporio Sirenuse Dress, Call It By Your Name Bag, Janessa Leone Hat, Saint Laurent Sunglasses

The pieces I reached for most were the simplest—easy, refined, and able to move from beach to lunch without a second thought. A few standouts:

What I came back to was how much beach dressing relies on thoughtful layering:

  • Lightweight coverups that double as full outfits
  • Easy combinations like shorts with a bikini and a button-down
  • Sarongs and pareos wrapped multiple ways—skirt, dress, or top—then worn straight into the rest of the day

It’s less about quantity and more about versatility, pieces that can shift with you throughout the day. I always bring an oversized white linen button-down (also love this green one!), a simple white tank, and a printed caftan.  Everything felt relaxed, but still put together, which is exactly how I want to dress at the beach.
