Taylor Swift kept one very familiar red sole in the mix for her wedding to Travis Kelce. The singer married the NFL star at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Friday in custom Christian Louboutin shoes after spending much of her record-breaking “Eras Tour” in hundreds of pairs by the designer.
The shoes have not yet been photographed, and details including the silhouette, material and heel height remain under wraps. What is known, however, is that Swift paired them with a Christian Dior haute couture wedding look designed by Jonathan Anderson, who also created Kelce’s ceremony attire. The groom wore custom Louboutins as well, while Swift completed her look with Cartier jewelry.
The Louboutin commission was hardly a bridal curveball. named the French designer as a likely contender for Swift’s wedding shoes last week, citing the hundreds of pairs he created for her record-breaking “Eras Tour.”

Louboutin made more than 250 pairs for Swift over the course of the tour, including 60 designs for its European leg. The shoes shifted with each section of the three-hour-plus production, moving from the crystal-covered Eleonora Botta knee-high boots of the “Lover” set to Cate boots for “Fearless,” custom lace-up ankle boots for “Folklore” and “Evermore” and the lug-soled CL Moc loafers used during “Red.”
The work went beyond changing crystals and colorways to match Swift’s sprawling tour wardrobe. Thousands of stones were applied by hand to catch the stage lighting, while rubber was added over the house’s recognizable red soles to give Swift more traction as she crossed catwalks, climbed platforms and moved through the show’s choreography. Louboutin’s work with the singer on tour dates back to the “Reputation” stadium run in 2018.

Swift has continued wearing the label away from the stage. She paired brown suede Jane boots with a winter look in New York City in December, while metallic green So Kate pumps accompanied her custom Gucci gown at the 2024 Golden Globes.

The wedding pair brought the designer into a more private part of her wardrobe, although the shoes remained hidden as no official images of Swift’s bridal look had been released Friday evening.
Swift and Kelce married before approximately 1,000 relatives and friends at Madison Square Garden. Her brother, Austin Swift, served as man of honor, while Jason Kelce stood beside the groom as best man. Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony.
