My first E-Comm store was www.theshoesnob.com, otherwise known as The Shoe Snob or The Shoe Snob Shop. The blog came first, and this website was the answer to selling all of the shoe care promotions I was creating back in my professional shoe-shining days. Many of you who have been supporting me since that time will have remembered that site and most likely bought some accessories from it. I had built quite a business there and even had talks with Saphir about potentially buying it. I was looking to sell as I wanted to focus on J.FitzPatrick, my shoe brand. In the end, my old business partner and I eventually sold it, and I moved to the US and focused on my shoe brand.
Fast forward 7 years, and I have re-acquired my old site and have big plans for it. This is the initial launch of The New Shoe Snob Shop 2.0. Here is what I plan to do with it.
Sell Samples/Personal Shoes/Clothing
I have a lot of shoes–and clothing. Some would say too much. The older I get, the more I agree with the ‘too much.’ I get sent a lot of shoes for unboxing videos and make samples through my own brand that, in reality, I will simply never wear. I only have two feet, and there are only so many days a year. Therefore, I am left with a lot of great stuff that should go to someone who will love and cherish it. That is where selling off this comes in. The downside? The sizing usually falls between US7 and US8. For those of you who happen to be that size, enjoy the offering!

Sell Accessories Again
I make a lot of content on shoe care and often send you to someone else’s site. Well, that will start to change, and I will start selling the accessories I use. That way, you know that I am for real about recommending them as I would have personally invested in them. I imagine that these will be on the site towards the end of the year. For now, I have a few bags/briefcases that I am selling, which are accessories but not really the shoe care ones that I am referring to.

Sell a New Line of Shoes Under The Shoe Snob Label, called TSS
This idea is in the making. I am currently commissioning samples of more casual-style loafers i.e., dress uppers on more casual soles, like soft soled and boat shoe style. The world is changing, and so am I. I love my dress shoes, but also love my dress casual loafers. This will be a more playful collection at a lower price than my dress shoe brand. And under The Shoe Snob moniker, sold on The New Shoe Snob Shop.
Be a US Partner For Brands Wanting to Sell in the US
For brands that want to expand in the US, but maybe have a hard time understanding the market or want a ‘presence’ here without having to invest in a US business or distribution, I will help act as a US Partner, facilitating the sales of their products on a trusted US site and distribution of them to the US consumer. This ensures that the customer saves on tariffs and gets a US customer service that can assist during US hours of operation. And also a return address in the US so that US clients do not have to ship internationally, offering them a cost-effective return/exchange service.

I love shoes, but really I love all manner of clothing and menswear accessories. And as I have always loved spreading good products, I find that this is a great way to do it. If I invest in them, you will know that they are good quality with great people behind them, as that is all that I work with and promote. This will probably be towards the end of next year, after I have built momentum and saved some money to invest!
The New Shoe Snob Shop remake has been in the making for the last 9 months and has been a project on the mind for the last 1.5 years. I nearly built the site myself, and it is really just in its infancy, as I wanted to get it out as quick as possible and then look to upgrade it from here.
