The Nike Air Max 1 ‘King’s Day’ is a bold, ceremonial-inspired recipe that’s constructed from a vibrant mesh upper, panelled with ‘Cacao Wow’ leather, ‘Amber Brown’ canvas and wood-grain overlays, paying homage to Dutch culture. Underfoot, a tinted visible Air Unit synonymous with the genealogy is chambered within the PU midsole; both of which are propped up by a tri-coloured Waffle rubber outsole. Finishing up, premium ‘Bright Mandarin’ Swooshes hallmark the sidewalls, and tucked away on the mesh tongue is a stash pocket – a fitting tribute to the Dutch capital, we think.
