Tiger Woods’ Sun Day Red Expands Retail to Golf Courses, Resorts

Tiger WoodsSun Day Red brand is expanding its retail presence once again.

After operating almost exclusively direct-to-consumer since its launch last year, with only a Pebble Beach pop-up offering customers the opportunity to experience the brand in-person, the star golfer’s line can now be seen in more locations.

Now, Sun Day Red’s complete collection – from premium polos and cashmere layers to technical outerwear – is available at select ultra-high-end courses and premier resort destinations.

And beginning July 22, the brand’s Pioneer Cypress and Magnolia footwear lines will be available in premium green grass shops and at top golf retail destinations including PGA Tour Superstore, Worldwide Golf Shops, Carl’s Golfland and Scheels.

The company noted that this retail expansion is about “creating meaningful touchpoints” where golfers can discover and experience Sun Day Red in real life.

Woods said in a statement that he is “incredibly excited” for golfers to experience Sun Day Red in person at some of the most prestigious courses.

“These aren’t just any golf courses,” Woods said. “Many of these places hold deep meaning for me. Some are where I’ve won tournaments that shaped my career, others are courses I’ve had the privilege to design, venues where I’ve competed in majors, and clubs where I’m honored to be a member. It feels right to have Sun Day Red available at these special places where the game is played.”

Brad Blankinship, president of Sun Day Red, added that this expansion marks “a massive milestone” for Sun Day Red.

“We’ve intentionally maintained our direct-to-consumer approach to ensure we could deliver the premium experience our customers deserve,” Blankinship noted. “Now we’re ready to bring that same level of meticulousness to carefully selected partners who share our commitment to the game and understand the golfer we serve.”

The moves comes a little over a year since Woods’ surprising break up from longtime footwear sponsor Nike. Woods and Nike confirmed their split in January 2024, marking the end to their iconic and fruitful 27-year relationship.

In February 2024, Woods announced the launch of Sun Day Red as its own standalone company via a new joint venture with TaylorMade Golf. The relationship between the two developed in 2017 when Woods started playing with TaylorMade clubs when Nike Golf exited that area of its business.
