Ciara defied gravity while taking on TikTok‘s viral Nicki Minaj Challenge with the help of a pair of Christian Louboutin’s Condora heels. TikTok users have created a new trending challenge that is inspired by Minaj’s 12-year-old song “High School” featuring Lil Wayne from the rerelease of her second studio album, 2013’s “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.”
Fans have been recreating a moment from the music video, in which the rapper is seen at the edge of a pool balancing atop a pair of towering Christian Louboutin Daffodile 160mm pumps with her legs crossed and both feet planted on the floor. The move is featured twice in the video, once at the beginning and then again toward the end.
After thousands of fans have given the challenge a try, balancing on top of random objects like mailboxes, pots and pans, conference tables and more, Ciara is the latest celebrity to nail the challenge — balancing on top of two big dumbbells. For the video, which features “High School” as the soundtrack, Ciara donned a pair of Louboutins, much like Minaj, opting for the luxury footwear designer’s Condora style.
The Condora pumps are made of black napa leather with a pointed toe resembling a bird’s beak and low-cut vamp revealing the top of the foot, and it’s set on a slanted, slightly flared heel measuring 100mm.
While the pumps are currently sold out, the Condora line also features various heel heights and styles, including pumps, slingbacks, mules and sandals, in colors like white, red and tan, and materials like suede and patent leather. The “Goodies” singer is a fan of the shoe and recently wore it with a pair of fresh white crew socks to cohost “Today With Jenna and Friends.”

Other celebrities have taken on the challenge, including Angela Simmons, footwear designer Jessica Rich and influencer Kristy Sarah. Simmons also wore a pair of black Louboutin pumps, Rich wore a pair of her own Jessica Rich Zaza Transparent Stripe Pump in noir, while Sarah wore black pointed-toe slingbacks. Minaj has been responding to the challenge by reposting fans’ videos on TikTok.
Although the trend has gained momentum and amassed millions of views on TikTok and Instagram thanks to celebrity participation, it was creator Immani Williams who is credited with being the first to attempt the challenge while balancing on dumbbells. She did so all while wearing a pair of Christian Louboutin’s popular So Kate heels, which she has been a longtime fan of, amassing millions of views.
