The collaboration — marking CFCL’s first time teaming up with another B Corp-certified company — was born of a mutual commitment to greater transparency within the sneaker supply chain.
CFCL is dedicated to elevating the comfort of knitwear from casual to refined garments befitting of a variety of urban outings. This creative approach is applied to the footwear collaboration for a sporty creation mirroring both the brands’ shared values and their unique design codes.

CFCL reimagined the V-90 as an all-around minimalist design, with laces covered by hidden eyelets and understated logos for both brands on the front and back tabs. Forgoing any extraneous details, the design lets the material of the upper take the spotlight. There are two colorways offered, a natural tone with reflective accents, and a black iteration with flashes of CFCL’s signature pale blue.

The upper is made from Nolyn, Veja’s modern take on nylon crafted from 54 percent polyester and 46 percent recycled polyester. This material offers high performance and durability as well as a sleek textural finish. The panels make use of Organic Trace Leather and the insole and outsole incorporate Amazonian rubber, bio-based materials and organic cotton. Responsible material choices were employed throughout, staying true to both brands’ philosophies.
