Chrome Hearts Nike Nocta Air Force 1 Release Date

Late last year, Chrome Hearts was brought under the Nike umbrella for the first time via Drake’s Nocta line. The collection was limited to apparel and included a maximalist puffer jacket retailing for nearly $40,000, but it may just be a start, as a sneaker from all three parties has now emerged.

The Chrome Hearts x Nike Nocta Air Force 1 was revealed by the renowned sneaker collector Mayor. Featuring in the classic “Triple White” colorway with Drake’s “Love You Forever” script on the midsole, the sneaker features a series of silver embellishments for a more subtle approach than December’s capsule. The precious metal is used for Gothic eyelets and lace tips, as well as a Chrome Hearts-branded lace dubrae.

It’s not yet clear if the Air Force 1 will actually release to the public or if it was made on an exclusive basis for friends and families of the brands. Were it to drop, though, Chrome Hearts’ years-long hot streak would likely make it one of the most anticipated sneaker launches in recent memory. It would also be a major boon for the Nocta line, the appetite for which has become subdued.

Chrome Hearts’ footwear releases can be as dubious of origin as they are limited. A series of Timberland 6-Inch boots have been made available to purchase with little notice and lower stock, although it hasn’t been clear if they’ve been official collaborations or mere custom jobs by the Los Angeles label. Timothée Chalamet has taken to wearing several pairs of such boots recently, with the pair from the Golden Globes having popped up on the internet for sale infrequently.

Third-party customizers have also been known to make their own footwear with authentic Chrome Hearts hardware, such as the Birkenstock Bostons from the consignment store Justin Reed.
