Air Jordan 10 Retro ‘Shadow’ 2025 Release Date HJ6779-001

After the August return of the Air Jordan 10 Retro Steel was met with even more enthusiasm than some had anticipated, the sneaker from Michael Jordan’s first NBA retirement is set to return in another original style.

November will see the reissue of the Air Jordan 10 Retro Shadow, a style originally released in late 1994 which overlapped with Jordan’s brief stint in Minor League Baseball. He would return to the NBA in March 1995 and briefly wore the Air Jordan 10, including the Shadow style featured here, on the court before debuting the Air Jordan 11 in a May postseason game. 

Originally rumored to return with the scrapped toecap of the original ’94 design — a detail which was featured on the most recent Steel reissue — the Shadow colorway will instead return with its traditional single-layer toe box. With a colorway of Charred Gray/True Red/Black, it’s possible that the gray shade on the upcoming release will differ slightly from the ’94 iteration, but fans can otherwise expect a true-to-original version of the sneaker.

Other details unique to the Air Jordan 10 include its outsole, which is inscribed with a list of Jordan’s on-court achievements up to that point in his career. The sneaker is often presented in leather, suede or mixed-material constructions, with the upcoming Shadow style using a combination of both. And while it may not be as highly regarded as other Air Jordans, the tenth model in the series has often experienced quick sell-throughs.

The ’25 version of the Air Jordan 10 Retro Shadow is set to be released on Nov. 19 for a retail price of $210. The sneaker’s style code is HJ6779-001. It will be available from Nike’s Snkrs app and select Jordan Brand retailers globally.
