First coming to life back in 1976, the adidas Originals Dublin was and still is one of the most worshipped models in the entire ‘City Series’ line-up. The earliest versions of the Dublin were originally produced in West Germany, Yugoslavia & Romania in its traditional blue and orange colour code – hues inspired by the burning castles on the Irish capital’s coat of arms. Throughout the late ‘70s, slightly altered versions of the same silhouette were released, with the only real point of difference being the shade of the sole and the colour hex for the suede upper.

A nod to one of Dublin’s most famous dynasties, a premium, lightly tumbled leather upper exudes a barrel-aged scent, whereas contrast 3-Stripes guard the sidewalls and serrated eyestays retain the tooling that’s synonymous with its other genealogical siblings. Thin rubber outsoles with custom footbeds underline the pair, while ‘1/2025’ and wordmark gold foil detailing etches off across the heel spines and lateral walls signalling the seldom occasion.
