MILAN — Golden Goose’s love of racket sports is not waning down.
After enlisting tennis and padel champions to its roster of ambassadors last year and opening a padel arena in Milan, the luxury sneakers brand announced Monday the appointment of tennis aces Gabriel Diallo and Dayana Yastremska as global brand ambassadors for 2026.
Diallo is one of Canada’s breakthrough tennis players ranking 38 in the ATP singles, while the Ukrainian Yastremska was the first woman born in the 2000s to crack the top 100 of the WTA rankings in 2018, aged 18. She currently ranks 52 in the WTA singles.
Marking their appointment, the two tennis players front a dedicated campaign, called “Off Duty Dreamers — Life Is the Real Game,” fashioned as a magazine cover in which each one is portrayed enjoying off-the-court moments — she while listening to music and putting on makeup and he indulging in a slice of pizza.
In their new ambassador role, the athletes join skaters Keegan Palmer and Olympic bronze medalist and leader of the U.S. National Team Cory Juneau; Belgian tennis player Zizou Bergs, and padel aces Arturo Coello, Marta Ortega and Juan Lebrón. All of them also star in the above mentioned campaign.
“For me, tennis is about passion and expression, both on and off the court. Joining Golden Goose allows me to share that same energy in everything I do,” Diallo said. The sportsman, who made headlines for defeating Lorenzo Musetti in a 2023 Davis Cup Finals group stage match, broke into the top 100 ranking in 2024 and claimed his first ATP title at the 2025 Libéma Open.

“Tennis has always been my way of expressing who I am — strong, emotional and fearless,” Yastremska said. “With Golden Goose, I can express that same identity off the court. It’s about being authentic in every moment,” she offered. The athlete has won three WTA singles titles and has advanced to the Round of 16 stage at Wimbledon in 2019, as well as the semifinals at the 2024 Australian Open.

As reported, last October the company unveiled the Golden Goose Arena in Milan, designed by Novembre Studio, the architectural firm helmed by famed designer Fabio Novembre. The space features nine padel courts and immersive facilities and aims at fostering sports-leaning communities.
To be sure, the luxury firm has championed a community-driven approach, for example hosting the Haus of Dreamers all-encompassing cultural events in Paris, Los Angeles and, most recently, in Marghera, Italy, where the company is based.
Golden Goose was established in 2000 and is best known for its successful Superstar sneakers and intentionally distressed styles.
Last December, international venture capital and private equity firm HSG acquired a majority stake in the company, with investment company Temasek and True Light Capital joining as minority investors. Funds advised by Permira, as well as other existing shareholders including Carlyle, retained a minority investment in the firm.
In 2025, Golden Goose’s net revenues rose 15 percent to 734 million euros at constant currency, compared with 654.6 million euros in 2024. Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization rose 9.2 percent to 248.3 million euros, a margin of 34 percent on sales. This compares with 227.3 million euros in 2024.
