Adidas to Unveil New Brand Concept Store at Mall of America in October

Adidas is bringing its latest global retail concept to Minnesota’s Mall of America as the brand continues its investment in North America.

The 9,161 square-foot store is located on Level 2 East and will open in October. The concept aims to deliver an elevated shopping experience that blends performance, sport culture and personalization, and it is designed to create a seamless and elevated consumer experience across both performance and lifestyle product.

The store is designed around four immersive retail zones: , Made For You, City Shop and, upon entry, an elevated storefront featuring integrated digital touchpoints to facilitate an intuitive shopping journey moving consumers from product discovery to personalization and purchase. At the center is an enhanced Made For You experience to give consumers opportunities to personalize and customize their products.

Overall, the space will offer a curated mix of Adidas Originals and Badge of Sport collections, as well as localized product tailored to the Minnesota community. And unique to Mall of America’s store will be an elevated Anthony Edwards shop to celebrate the Minnesota Timberwolves star and reinforce Adidas’ connection to the local basketball culture and community.

“The store’s architectural and design direction reflects Adidas’ latest global concept, featuring a modern aesthetic with a focus on product storytelling, clarity, and layered visual presentation, alongside a material palette defined by neutral tones, metal structures, and translucent elements,” according to Mall of America.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Adidas to Mall of America, marking another first-to-market brand for our guests,” Carrie Charleston, vice president and head of Leasing at Mall of America, said. “This best-in-class retail experience will offer our guests an innovative way to engage with the brand through product, customization, and immersive storytelling, creating a shopping experience that reflects the future of retail.”

In February, the German sports brand opened its first U.S.-only soccer-focused store at the American Dream Mall in East Rutherford, N.J., which featured performance footwear and apparel in an immersive format. The 9,000 square-foot store opened ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup kickoff that just had its championship final on Sunday.
