Air Jordan 4 Retro GS ‘Blue Chill’ Release Date HV4401-014

2025 may be the 35th anniversary of the Air Jordan 5, but it isn’t the only retro Michael Jordan model that’s receiving attention from Nike, Inc.’s Jordan Brand this year. Adding to a slew of significant Air Jordan 4 releases is a new kids-exclusive colorway that arrives just in time for chillier weather.

The Air Jordan 4 Retro GS “Blue Chill” features a full colorway of Photon Dust/Flat Pewter/White/Blue Chill which translates to a near-white Photon Dust leather upper that’s paired with seasonal shades. A Flat Pewter gray fills in the shoe’s technical components including its lace support wings and rubber midsole. 

But the highlight of this upcoming pair is its wintry Blue Chill accents, which is used on the insole Jumpman branding and on a foil tongue tag that’s unique to this particular style. The metallic tag features a Jordan spell out logo with “inspired by greatness” text in place of the patch’s usual Flight script. At the bottom, a full translucent rubber outsole completes the icy aesthetic.

The Air Jordan 4 was first released in 1989. Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the model has been established as a fan-favorite over the decades. 

Some of the year’s most notable Air Jordan 4 releases have included Nigel Sylvester’s Brick by Brick collaboration, the first-ever wide release of Undefeated’s olive green collab from 2005 and the return of the model’s original White Cement colorway. Before the year is over, the Air Jordan 4 will arrive in a special-edition “Somos Eternos” colorway and in 2026, it’s expected to drop in its overlooked Tour Yellow style along with new Sierra Red and Imperial Purple makeups.

The Air Jordan 4 Retro Blue Chill will come exclusively in grade school sizes from 3.5Y to 7Y. It will be available from nike.com and select Jordan Brand retailers on Nov. 1. The pair will retail for $165 and has a style code of HV4401-014.
