The Air Jordan 4 ‘White Cement’ makes its highly anticipated return in 2025, marking the fifth time this icon hits shelves since its original 1989 debut. Designed by none other than Tinker Hatfield, the AJ4 became a streetwear staple, solidified in sneaker culture, it famously appears in Spike Lee’s Do The Right Thing where a pristine pair get scuffed.
Since then, the model’s been re-released in 1999, 2012, and 2016, each time igniting fervour among sneaker purists. Notably, the 2016 iteration reinstated the coveted Nike Air branding on the heel, a detail absent since the 1999 edition.
Onto the shoe. This year’s edition stays loyal to the OG legacy: a clean ‘Summit White’ leather upper, classic speckled cement hits on the wings and midsole, and bold ‘Fire Red’ Jumpman logos on the tongue. Black accents ground the design, while the visible Air unit supplies cloud-like comfort. Timeless. Every time.
The draw for the AJ4 Retro OG ‘White Cement’ opens 18.05.2025 and closes 23.05.2025.
