Air Jordan 5 Retro Tokyo 2025 Release Date IO3372-700

Saturday’s launch of the Undefeated x Air Jordan 4 is just one of many examples of the brand opening its vast vault of coveted and at times, mythical, sneaker styles. This year alone, the Nike, Inc. owned-and-operated Jordan Brand will reissue another pair which once seemed unattainable: the Air Jordan 5 Retro Tokyo.

News of a Tokyo Air Jordan 5 reissue first came about in May, with Jordan Brand confirming rumors that the elusive colorway would be returning. The yellow-based style was introduced in April 2011 to celebrate the opening of the brand’s Shibuya, Japan store known as Tokyo 23. Sometimes referred to as the “Tokyo T23” colorway, the style was exclusive to Japan and released in extremely limited numbers.

Now, for the first time ever, the pair is set to receive a wider release, albeit with a small modification. The upcoming 2025 version of the Air Jordan 5 Retro Tokyo will feature a yellow tip on its rubber outsole, a segment which was fully blacked out on the original iteration.

All of the shoe’s other signature details remain intact including a vibrant yellow suede upper, icy translucent outsole, reflective tongue detailing and custom heel embroidery. The sneaker will also come packaged with an alternate set of white shoelaces.

Prior to the announcement of a ’25 reissue, the Air Jordan 5 Retro Tokyo had an average resale price of over $2,000 on StockX with one recorded sale exceeding $11,000.

The Air Jordan 5 Retro Tokyo is slated to be released on Sept. 27 from SNKRS and select Jordan Brand retailers for $215, although the exact launch procedure has not been confirmed. The pair has a style code of IO3372-700 and its full colorway is Yellow/Multi-Color.

A full set of official Nike e-commerce images is pictured below, which offers a detailed look at what to expect from the upcoming release.
