While most of the loafers I saw were classic single-color designs, Mario offers endless customization possibilities, from last shapes and apron styles to an impressive range of leathers and colors. Over the years, I’ve seen him work with virtually every shoe material available.

I have a personal connection with Mario — he was the first person to teach me about truly high-end shoes nearly 20 years ago, during my apprenticeship with his brother Stefano Bemer. From shoe shining and presentation to leather cutting, those early lessons still resonate today. Mario remains as passionate as ever, prioritizing quality and client satisfaction over mass production — a rare integrity in today’s market.
