Kanye West’s New Yeezy 800 Sneaker Will Be Released Holiday 2026

As Kanye West continues his latest attempt to re-enter the public eye, the embattled artist-designer’s Yeezy line is in the midst of a reset. Following a recent partnership with JD Sports to stock his popular Yeezy Slides and various other footwear models, the artist now known as Ye has also revealed an upcoming new sneaker that’s been met with polarizing reactions on social media. 

A detailed look at the new Yeezy 800 sneaker was recently uploaded to the yeezy.com e-commerce store following a preview from Ye himself on Instagram. The shoe is somewhat reminiscent of his past work with Adidas, namely models such as the Yeezy 500 and the Yeezy Desert Boot, but the Yeezy 800 takes an even more nondescript approach with its all-black Stealth colorway. Seemingly entirely devoid of branding, the Yeezy 800 features a tactical hiking shoe-esque look which sees a mesh base overlaid with angular panels. 

Earlier this month, Ye also shared on Instagram a teaser of several Yeezy 800 colorway mock-ups featuring mixes of pastel blue, green and yellow. It’s not yet confirmed if any of those colorways will be released or if they were merely previews to show potential concepts.

In addition to the mixed responses, social media sleuths were quick to point out similarities between the Yeezy 800 and Hi-Tec’s Magnum Uniform Service Trainer, a shoe developed based on British military standards for recruit training. 

Ye’s footwear reveals also included the new Yeezy Alpha Boot, also known as the AB-01. Like the Yeezy 800, the military-esque lace-up boot will be released in December.

The Yeezy 800 is set to be released in December for a to-be-announced retail price. Ye’s other most recent sneaker design, the Yeezy BL-01, was sold for $80 directly from Yeezy and saw an increase to $108 during its recent JD Sports release.
