Frances Valentine is celebrating its 10th anniversary by launching a spring 2026 shoe capsule collection alongside J.McLaughlin. While the company’s 10-year celebration is on Valentine’s Day, the collection will launch on Feb. 17. To commemorate each year since the brand’s milestone, the collection features 10 newly designed styles that are made from various textures such as raffia, leather and suede.
According to both brands, the new designs honor their commitment to color, joy and festive footwear, while maintaining Frances Valentine’s charm and J.McLaughlin’s timeless sensibility. Frances Valentine was founded in 2016 by best friends Elyce Arons and the late Kate Spade as a fashion, lifestyle and accessories brand.
“We are thrilled to launch Frances Valentine for J. McLaughlin footwear,” Arons, who is the brand’s CEO, said about the collaboration. “It’s rare to find a business partnership that is truly rooted in friendship, and that spirit is at the heart of this collaboration. The shoes are colorful, joyful and a perfect complement to J.McLaughlin’s beautiful collection.”
J.McLaughlin was founded in 1977 by brothers Kevin and Jay McLaughlin as a lifestyle brand shaped by enduring style. The collaboration is changing the way J.McLaughlin approaches shoes, according to the brand. The shoes in the capsule collection were designed as statement pieces, while the brand currently focuses on footwear considered a wardrobe staple, such as loafers, flats and leather sneakers in muted, neutral colors.

“We’ve always believed that the best collaborations come from genuine connection and shared values,” said Greg Unis, chief executive officer of J.McLaughlin, in a statement. “Working with Frances Valentine has been pure joy — our teams united by a love of color, quality and creating pieces that make people smile. Simply put, these shoes are unapologetically fun.”
Two of the styles, the Venus Heel and the Betty Raffia Heel, will be available exclusively at jmclaughlin.com and in 55 of the brand’s retail stores. The Venus Heel features a whimsical green beaded palm tree on the upper. The palm tree appliqué is inspired by the palm tree found in J.McLaughlin’s signature “Zebra Story” spring print. The Betty Raffia Heel blends the casual raffia texture with the elegance of gold accents.
Additional standout styles include the Reese Suede Slingback, offered in multiple colorways and designed to transition effortlessly from day to evening. The Taylor Buckle Heel, pairs classic textures with modern hues. The full collection will be available at J.McLaughlin stores across the country, Frances Valentine stores, and online on both retail sites. Prices will range from $298 to $498.
