The Best Dust Bags in the World – By Hiro Yanagimachi

The Best Dust Bags

The best dust bags in the world are unquestionably made by Hiro Yanagimachi. The Japanese shoemaker took their cultural striving for perfection to the next level by creating what is easily the most thoughtful dust bag known to man. Hiro Yanagimachi clearly cares about shoe care. While most of us worry about shoe polishing and conditioning, one of the culprits of damaging your shoes is a lack of protection when they are not worn. This is especially the case when traveling.

To celebrate the brand’s 25th anniversary, Hiro Yanagimachi has released a special dust bag in a suede option, specifically Asiago Suede, a very rich and supple kid suede. This is a limited edition, according to their Instagram, but for now, you have an array of colors to choose from. While they do not list this on their website, they made this announcement on their Instagram page.

The new suede bag has 12 color options with a contrasting zipper and monogram options also available. Unfortunately, I do not know the price of these, but I am assuming they fetch a pretty penny. If money were no object, though, you can safely say, I would own a pair in every color! I genuinely think that these are one of the coolest accessories in the shoe game.

I also quite like the flannel/felt-looking ones that cinch up at the top. Those are probably more economical too for those not looking to overspend, but like the idea of this clever dust bag. Either way, you cannot go wrong as they all beat the classic dust bag that we commonly find. Not to say those do not work, but these are clearly just better!

Hiro Yanagimachi is one of the great shoe brands of today. They now offer the best dust bags, too. Great stuff by a great brand! Make sure to support them for their 25th anniversary by picking up a bag or two. While they do not offer e-commerce on their site, you can always email them for help. They are very kind people.
