Star Wars x Columbia Endor Collection Release Date

Columbia and Star Wars will continue a relationship that started in 2016 with a collection that includes just their second pair of footwear.

The Star Wars x Columbia “Endor” collection looks to the planet from “Return of the Jedi” for inspiration that includes a technical boot. The Endor Issue Boot borrows its camouflage pattern from that worn by Princess Leia and other characters, as well as featuring a Rebel Alliance patch on the tongue and text in the Aurebesh alphabet from the galaxy far, far away.

On the tech front, the boot makes use of Columbia’s lightweight and responsive TechLight cushioning and a Omni-Grip outsole ensuring grip in a variety of surfaces.

Billie Lourd, daughter of Carrie Fisher, stars as one of the models for the “Endor” collection campaign. She wore one of her mother’s rings for the shoot and said in a press release: “Finding new ways to honor my mom’s legacy in the Star Wars universe is something that means so much to me. Columbia did such a beautiful job incorporating the ‘Battle of Endor’ into this collection. Getting to wear the iconic pieces they created and getting to have my family bring that story to life for fans was an incredibly special experience and a memory I will cherish forever.”

In addition to the boots, the camo pattern also appears on a waterproof poncho and cargo pants. Other pieces include a three-in-one trenchcoat modeled after Han Solo and a Ewok fleece with an ear hood in youth and toddler sizing.

The only other footwear release to come out of Columbia and Star Wars’ series of collections was a Darth Vader boot from last year.

The Star Wars x Columbia “Endor” collection releases Thursday through Columbia’s website. Pricing for the Endor Issue Boot is set at $220.
